Roy Neel served as Deputy Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton and Chief of Staff to Senator, then Vice President Al Gore. During the 2000 Presidential election cycle he was Gore’s Transition Director. During 2004 he briefly managed Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. Neel has been a sportswriter, U. S. Navy journalist, aerial photographer, and Washington trade association executive. He is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University and a visiting lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Jenny Clad
